Nautilus Fire Protection - Installation
Ease of installation is one of the major advantages of the NAUTILUS Fire Protection System. It is a single layer application with simple installation methods. It is easily installed in confined places with no protective clothing required or special equipment for installation needed.
Four Simple Steps to Installation
- Spot weld stud/channel in between stiffeners
- Lift material into place, screw fix to hold
- Join layers by Butt Joining
- Secure by screw fixing galvanised angle continuously along the top and bottom fix.
Basic materials required for installation
- R31 or B16 Staple Gun
- 12mm Stainless Steel Staples
- 50mm x 0.5mm Stud/Channel
- 25mm x 25mm x 0.5mm Galvanised Angle
- Drill
- Dry wall screws
- Stanley Knife
Penetration Management
- Use proprietary product for penetrations
- Install NAUTILUS after the penetrations have been independently protected
